| Sp-12 "waiting for sync" message" no cassete/ |

as soon as i power on my sp-12 turbo i get one of the above mentioned messages. there is no disk drive attached. it sounds like as if the sp-12 got stuck is some sort of matter and whenever i try to reboot it won`t get back to its normal mode. i picked itn up and the preowner hasn`t used it for ages. but it defintly work back in the days.
any help appreciated. service/repair in germany recommended?
