anyone seen the samplekings dvd on sp1200 use?
is there much knowledge to be had beyond that of the manual itself?

haha man i ordered before i even had an sp1200 just because i was fiending to watch it in action and i received a mpc 4000 video with a sp1200 sticker over top the mpc sticker. haha i sent it back and told them i wanted a new one and they never returned my phonecalls, emails, money. They're cheap motherfuckers, the first start of the vid was him fuckin around but it wasn't worth the money... i got my sp and learned it in 1 day. If anyone gets an sp1200 and can't learn all its functions with or without the manual i feel sorry for them.
WASTE OF MONEY

i was stoked by their demo clip showing how to loop the end of a sound.. but then i looked that shit up... sho' nuff, i'd just missed it plain and simple...
maybe those sorts of demos are online somewhere else though...?

I got the dvd and its pretty basic. Would be good for someone who is new to making beats though, plus dr def cracks me up. the only thing i learned was that 27,500 samples = 1 Second. But i'm sure that's in the manual somewhere.
