time stretching on the emax??  Reply with quote  

whats up everyone..much respect on this forum....i just got the emax original keyboard and was wondering is there a time stretch function or something similar to this on the machine? i dumped a sample into it and was playin with the pitch/tone with diff keys but i want to get them all in time and not have the tempo go all over the place....i dunno if this machine is capable of it (i know the s950 can do this)....any info would be great

no there is no time stretch feature in an emax.

you might wanna check out the emax yahoo group. they have a program and documentation that lets you transfer sounds to n from the emax by disk in windows xp. you can save your joints to disk open em in the computer n ts them. time stretch algorythms in the computer are more flexible in my opinion anyway.
