Formatting Emax 1 disks? (how to)
I'm trying to format a disk.
I put a previous emax disc in, delete all sounds, save a default thing y/n? I choose yes...throw a new dd disk in and go to format it and it says there is an error
could anyone give me the step by step to format a disc or is my drive shot? it reads disks fine and I"ve tried several different ones to see if it was just that specific disk and it wasn't.

What up Deta!L, if your'e reading disks and booting up then the drive is probably fine. If I remember right, when you choose to format you have to have the OS disk in the drive for the first "yes" and then it reads the OS disk for a second and then says something like "OK insert blank disk". As long as your'e using DD then you should be good.
