Spooky analog filters on my Emax  Reply with quote

Everytime i fiddle in the analog processing menus, my sample fucks up and makes a huge noise in the middle of it, what could it be? Has anyone else had this problem? Theres nothing wrong with the sample when i play it back until i change something in analog processing!

it sounds like some of your chips need to be reseated.

Open up the machine and identify all the chips which are sitting in black plastic seats. These will be chips that are not soddered directly to the PCB board. The sit in black plastic seats and the black plastic part is attatched to the PCB board.

Press down on the seated chips and u will hear a crackling/crack sound , which is the chip getting pushed into its socket.

make sure u ground ureself when u touching the electronical components too. i hope this solves ure problem
