sorry to blogwhore, but I did one of these, too.  

took about a week of evenings and a weekend or two, some fair bit of work...but much more convenient footprint.  

if you can find a cheap 106 or HS60, and you have dremel, hacksaw, soldering iron, and some patience, it's worth it.

thanks for this info. i have a spare 106 that i used for the voice chips.  

kb - how do you like the junior 106 so far?

I picked up a 106 on craigslist on the cheap a while back..two voices are out...where is a good place to get the chips? I found a dude across seas who  has remanufactured his own "better than stock" chips, but they are super expensive and he comes off as a "soup nazi" type of dude...

When I asked Advanced Musical if they knew anything about the voice chip issue, they said they purchased the remanufactured ones from dude overseas and installed them for customers.  When I asked about the success rate of the chips, they said said they were stellar.  Would be dope to have a fully fuctional 106 once and fore all but I've been feeling the Juno 60 more.

armen in van  nuys used to do this to juno 106's



i saw one in person looked pretty clean for a custom job.

hi out there

Im looking for the detailed instruction to buid the Junior 106 . the old website with them is down and is not loading. Im desoerate couse I gig a lot with my juno and tired to travel around so big

pls any of you kept a copy ?
