Sup Goldenmean?
I heard recently that Elektron's C6 software works with the SP. The new incarnation of the machinedrum also uses 12 bit samples. C6 uses SDS (sample dump standard), so there is at least a chance this does work. The TM-1 turbo midi interface makes sample dumping much faster too. C6 is a free download from the Elektron site and it'll work with any pc-midi set up. I have a TM-1 on the way to me now, I'll report back and let everybody know how it goes. I still never got a hd floppy working, although I found the right drive models. Hopefully I can get something working and keep my beats alive! |

^^ Yeah let us know about C6.
This guy here says he got it working: http://sp1200.myfastforum.org/sutra3289.php&highlight=#3289
I tried but could only dump from SP to computer but not the other way.
About HD floppies, i've been using them for ten years with tape over the hole. No errors. |

i've tried Elektron C6 and Awave v.10 with my laptop pc to get a sample dump from/to the sp1200, but no way...
can't send/receive from/to sp, maybe i do something wrong. i've tried also to push the start button when the programs are running to receive the samples, but nothing happened.
somebody know why?
i've connected the laptop and the sp with a usb/midi interface (M-audio uno) and configured the in/out properly i think... _________________ http://writers-connection.noblogs.org/ |

do you know a software that works on a PC with XP home ed.?
i've read on the sp1200 faq that Awave works fine but maybe i have a too new version installed on my pc (awave v.10)...
maybe i need an older version.
it's strange because i've set the resolution to 12bit and everything seems to work fine (the transfer from pc to sp start but no samples are received by the sp) _________________ http://writers-connection.noblogs.org/ |

i've trier teledisk and seems to receive the data from the sp floppy. i tried to copy the same data in a new floppy but my sp says "bad data from disk" so it can't load the samples... maybe i had to configure the program properly... anyone knows how to do it?
or maybe the software doesn't work with the winME OS?
don't know but anyway thanks DFace
