same machine wiht a headphone jack on the ii. it was akai's way to make the mpc 60 more affordable by dropping the metal case , the adjustable screen, and the lavish leather armrest. 60ii is also alot wider in comparison. 60i is the most pimped out drum machine ever. _________________

One difference that's overlooked is the power cable. The 60 I has the 2 leg plug so your breaker box doesn't have to be grounded to use it.

Besides that, i thought the ii came standard with maxed out memory, and had poly-off feature which the i hadn't. Can anyone confirm that?
btw. why doesnt the i have a poly off feature, How do you repeat first part of a break when it plays? so much to learn... _________________ [no sig for now]

Thats what I heard last time. Which reminds me. If Premier got a mpc60ii which comes standard with scsi and OS3.10 Doesnt that mean his "swing" is like mpc3000 and not the <2.04 swing all talk about?? _________________ [no sig for now]

Premier doesn't have SCSI. He saves everything in the S950 to Floppies as Midi Files.
