start/end in copies questionI'm about to buy a sp1200, but I have a question. When you copy a sample to other pads the same sample data is used, so no aditional memory is used. The manual says you cannot truncate the original sound when it is copied. My question is, can you set different start/end/loop points in the copies?

Once you have copied a sample, you can tune it or give it different decay settings, but you cannot edit the start/end/loop points.

there are other ways around this problem-like copying sound to disk and reloading and then editing

It's a good question but shouldn't be a deal breaker.
