A while ago I decided I was going to create a number of Illustrations that include the almighty, invidious SP1200 (she makes everyone jealous, doesn't she?) and any other kinds of sampling machinery one might find lying next to it in the studio. I have a few ideas for T-shirt designs and thought that I should start by collecting photos of gear. Which brings me to my reason for this posting. I'd like to collect photos, taken by you all, of your SP1200's, your 950's, your EMAX's, your ASR-10's, etc. If you have any images that are under 6mb, please submit them to me here:

I ask that you make sure your images are in JPEG format and of at least 72 dpi at 9" x 12".

In the meantime, I'm using my own personal catalog of images to finish up the first shirt design devoted entirely to the SP1200 and its community of users here on these forums.

Yo, you have my sp1200.
She has been around the world and back again.
I know you brought it ligit off of ebay I spoke to the guy who had pics of it before he sold it for $850 which is what he brought it for off of ebay.
Some one stole it from us in Miami and pawned it. a guy picked it up from there and put it on Ebay and away she went.

I originally got it in New York off some kid who was about to trade it in at Sam Ash. I brought him a roland MC 303 cause that's what he came to trade it for. It was brand spanking new. He turned it on it twice but he said it had no "SOUNDS IN IT" so he couldn't use it.

Do you by any remote chance have her old face? it has a lot of memories...
