SP12 and MPC60

Hi, my 1st post, I did a quick search but couldn't see anything. I just got a SP12 turbo for 420pounds not too bad.. A couple of questions:

1> Is there any way to tune samples further down than using the tuning function?

2> Whats the easiest way of syncing the MPC to the SP12 SO THE mpc is the master controller

3> How can you get a similar swing to the MPC60 do you need to porgram in double time?

Sorry if the questions are a bit basic, appreciate anyones help. Hopefully I'll post something I did on it this week.

Peace

1> yeah its in the manual.  its one of the options under special in the setup.

2> midi sync

3> any swing percentage available on the sp is on the mpc and more.  mpc is a tighter sequencer so its not sloppy like the sp.  experiment wiht step edit and no quantize and you should be able to find something similar to your liking. the way i see it tho why try to recreate the sp sequencer feel when you have an SP.  JUST USE THE SP TO SEQUENCE IF YOU WANT THE SP FEEL

sorry i had to move you to new jack.  but you are new here, your questions are very basic, and you put the topic in the wrong place.

Thanks for the reply, I actual put it in New Jack myself after I realised my mistake. Anyways thanks, I'll try the special function, I plan t use the MPC60, S950 and SP12 all together, never read/owned a manual for any of them, guess maybe I should sometime. Thanks again
