SP connected directly to speakers

I have my SP connected directly to a set of studio monitors via a y-cable. I don't have an amplifier or mixer buffering the signal in between. Is this harmful to the SP or generally not recommended? Just a minor pre-occupation I've had, any feedback would be appreciated, thanks. P.E.A.C.E.

this will do no damage to your sp. this might damage your monitors if anything. but youre fine.
