some workflow questionsi am coming from a mpc (have allready the 4k, and had the whole mpc range expect the 3k)....
the workflow on the sp is not bad but extremly different to the mpc.
so my questions:
swing feature:
is this correct: when i lay a seqment out, then i press swing 67% and enter:
the WHOLE seqment is now in 67% swing timing.
...what if i record the bd with 67%, then i press swing 54% (w/o enter) the hihats are recorded in 54% ? or i am wrong?
and: is there a difference when i press enter after the swing button?
and: is the swing function in relation to the timing correct button?
for example: is this a differnt groove when i have
tc:1/8 swing 54%
to
tc:1/16 swing 54%?
i had also a roland mv8k for a while, so my question...
and: whats the resolution of the sp12(00)?
please forgive me all my questions, have the sp only a few days...
