hi, i got my s950 yesterday, and i made a beat on it yesterday using the midi 950+1200 manual i found on this board, and it worked great! thanks lot!

i woke up today, tried to make a beat, but the problem is... in my keygroup no. one, i have a program called "beat prgrm"

but when i hit the sp, it plays my sample, as it should, but it ALSO plays the TONE from the s950.. it plays it decayed, like a little kick thats spread all over the sp pads in different pitches, i need to know how to remove the tone from the s950 program or keygroup or whateverive done worng, so it just plays my sample.

first of delete teh tone program and the tone. then make your program.

you have other keygroups that span the notes that has the tone on it.

you need to make sure the range of every keygroup is for its specified pad
