Saving to computer with cassette mode (SP12)Last night I was messing around on the SP12 and since my disk drive is broke I tried saving the samples and sequences to the computer with the cassette mode through sound forge. It worked! the seqs took about 15 seconds to save/load and the samples (1.2 seconds total) took about 3 minutes. Now I'm kinda curious if the same data will load into the SP1200. I might try it tonight.

Yeah, and the SP1200. For the 1200 just power up while holding down the disk button and have a pre-formatted floppy on hand.

I think 7 but it's unimportant since any editor will work.
This might be the best way for SP12 users to save stuff since you could easily have folders on your computer full of just kicks, snares, full beats or whatever that would load fairly quickly and easily transfer to the 1200 if you ever upgraded. I looked into 1541 emulation with the XE cables but this seemed easier since no special cables or software is needed.

hello,
how do you do it? can you write a litte manual. not every editor can do it. the problem is, that the sp12 needs special commands and handshakes.
