Sampling into the MPC60 w/ O.S. 3.10My question is with the O.S. 3.1 I guess you have to sample a stereo sound in 2 steps right? You have to sample once in the left and once in the right and then it will automatically combine the 2 to make a stereo sound I guess? But what if you don't want the sample to be stereo can you still just sample in mono and I can start chopping up the sample?
One more thing are the Stereo Outs are they really that quite that you need to get the stereo outs boosted? Is it like half the sound of what a 2000Xl or 3000 puts out? Thanks in advance to anybody who repsonds.

You can sample in mono and the 60's outs are mad quite compared to all other MPC's.

60 outs are real quiet, i have mine modded so i dont really have the problem, but if your looking to boost your output alittle, madd people use the headphone jack (assuming you have an MK2) if you got the first one then disregard this
