to change the floppy drice you must unscrew the rack ears, then remove the 5 screws that hold the top metal cover on. also unscrew the heat sync as pictured. there are four screws directly under the floppy drive that you need to take out to replace it.

i will soon be posting a list of drives that work for replacements. but for now my tip is dont spend more than 20 dollars especially on a teac replacement.

I have been looking for a replacement floppy , its actually hard to find one with jumpers. All the people i have talked to say floppys never really had jumpers because they were always able to cable select. Meaning know if its dev1 of dev0 or what ever just by where its pluged in.

thats bullshit. i searched for floppys wiht jumpers. you just arent looking hard enough. fuck it if you cant find one you can buy one off me.
