do you mean track it in or you want to sequence the sp1200 from ableton? no computer sequencer can touch the sp1200 sequencer imo. |

any suggestions as to which make/model?
what do you use holmes? and am i right in my highly uneducated guess.... that with this set up i could potentially add effects etc to each of the 8 sp1200 channels separately as they come in to a project in ableton? is tthis the sort of jammy?: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FireWire1814-focus.html with this i'm a little confused.. obviously there's the options of 8 1/4" jacks, but then presumably that's audio, not midi signal(s)? sorry for complete ignorance, i spent my youth with spraycans and markers, this whole beatmaking malarkey is still pretty new to me.
