I want to hook a keyboard up to my SE1x to control that and record the midi to my MP so would I go midi out from MPC to midi in of keyboard, midi out of keyboard to midi in of SE1x and then midi out of SE1x to midi in of MPC, then midi out of SE1x to midi in of MPC or midi out of keyboard to midi in of MPC? or should I go midi through to SE1x?

a little confused right now and I don't have a keyboard to test out at the moment, that's a future purchase

A midi keyboard can control all 4 midi outs on the MP through the OS so just do midi keyboard out to MP midi in. Then connect your se1x or any module or sampler's midi ins to one of the midi outs on the MP. Done deal.
