Rattle inside my SP!Yo, I just moved my studio and found my SP has something loose inside it.
I'm not sure whats come loose but it sounds pretty light, like a voice chip. (or something off a board)
I'm not keen to turn it on at the moment cause I'm paranoid about shit going wrong and wrecking the SP.
Anybody suddenly find a rattle in your SP?
What was it?
The funny thing is that i remember hearing a weird pop inside the SP about a month ago and thought nothing of it, and i havn't heard any changes either!
Still don't want to switch it on though...

Could be a screw that was previously lodged somewhere.
Good idea to open it up and give it a good shake before you switch it on. Just make sure nothing else comes loose when you shake it.

We had an SP shipped all the way from NYC to Athens and my friend told me that something was loose inside.
When it finally got here, the drive was not working,
My friend Kebzer opened the SP and he found out the the thing that was rattling inside was the floppy drive lid.
This damaged the floppy drive head and made it useless.

sounds like it could be a screw- but keep in mind there is a cable that connects the top of the sp1200's buttons sliders screen etc- to its interface on the bottom-is a kinda long cable that is not fixed and also is known to rattle and move around..
