only the start of a sample will playme again..
current problem: i've got 8 sounds loaded, the first seven are all drum sounds which all work fine.. - got a nice simple beat going..
the 8th sound is a bunch of trumpet notes, recorded in on 45, pitched down.
all is gravy - except, when i have my beat going and then want to add the horn, i just get a fraction of the first note...
each sound is assigned to a different channel..
i am working at double speed, 186bpm to create a 93bpm track with nice swing..
anyone with a clue as to what i might be able to do get this working properly / where i'm going wrong?
cheers,

you need to assign the sounds to different outputs
one of your drums is cutting off your sample
go to setup 17

so a1=ch1, a2=Ch2 etc. thru to a8=ch8...
and i still had the problem as described...
banks b through d are/were empty.. but a few of those were assigned to ch8.. when i took 'em off it - presto.. it works.
i guess 'ghost' sounds set to channels do something?
which is weird 'cause i'm 99% certain i deleted each 'non-sound' set up 20...
?
thanks again mr dface btw!
- finally i'm getting some ish together..

Deleted sounds do cut off others on the same output. Also on my SP the deleted sounds give a faintly audible click if triggered.

your problem was you had those pads from the other banks keyd in your sequence. You have to make sure you go through and erase notes from the sequence even if they're notes with no sound.
