mpc2000 VS mpc3000 (with sp12T)This is kinda a continuation off of my other thread...So basically I just bought an sp12 turbo for my drums, but I'm still unsure whether to use the mpc3000 or 2000 for my main sequencer and sampler. I already know the 2000 interface and can get around easily, but the sound is a little thin. The 3000 (as I have heard it) has more low end and colors the sound better. However, I'm kinda afraid of the old-school interface and way of doing things. ANy suggestions?! P.S.-these are my only two choices ( I'm not interested in the newer mpcs or the 60) |

having two seq/sampler machines for one beat? a rack sampler is alot more in depth then the samplers in the 2k/3k. why dont you try using the sp as your sequencer. get a rack sampler.
or get a mpc and a emax for drums. which mpc dont really matter. i personally think the mpc2000 is a big piece of shit os wise sampler wise seq wise reliability wise. but ive been a 3k user for a long time. |

but how is sequencing on the sp. I've heard it's pretty easy, but not as good as the mpc. True? | ||

sp isnt hard to sequence wiht. step edit is dope
if you sequence synths its not gonna work tho |

Any suggestions for the rack? s900/950 emax ? |

the best rack sampler in my opinion and many other users here is the s950. s900 is cool but its a third of the sampling time and no timestretch. if you can afford it go for maxed 950. emax is also a good sampler. i dont like it as much as the 950 but the filters are analog and sound dope and the sampler sounds dope. i like the os on the 950 better. its alot easier to do many things. either sampler you wont be dissapointed. | ||
