integrating the s950 into sp1200 production?

i recently got an s950 to midi up to the sp, i got all the triggering and everything figured out. i like the filters and its easier to chop stuff on than the sp. im just wondering about some ways people use them with the sp. im so used to using 10 seconds for a beat, im not sure the best way to use the extra time. im curious about how everyone uses them together... do drums only on the sp and sample longer phrases on s950, use s950 for filtered bass, etc. im sort of new to the application of it.

personally i always use the sp for my drum sounds, and maybe a few bass notes or something, then put everything else in the 950. i have an sp12, so im limited on sampling time even more so. i use the 950 for the majority on of my samples tho.
