I broke my pads buttons help!Hello,After reading differents posts wich give solution to clean the black pads, i tried to pop up the up of the run/stop and tap/repeat pads and all the pad came up, after that, i look the pad ans see the metalic part was broken... i don't know how to fix it 
can someone help me? and what's the basic fonction of the pad ? if the metalic part touch the other one, is it possible that's work? i don't understand how it work... too boring

i've had the same problem, maybe we got to do a tutorial for this tip, because i've read other users that broke their buttons trying to clean it up. i've tried to fix the pad but is very difficult you need the new mechanichal part (spring) that was broken. to change the part i've sended my machine to the technical assistance. | ||||

buy a new button and take the old one out and replace it.
or take it to a tech with the new button s u just get charged for labor |

wow thats a strange mechanism. I never see something like this. Is the long pin a contact AND the spring that hold the button up or are there any other parts?

The problem is that the buttons arent avalible anywhere... I have tried 2 different places including the link from the emulatorarchive.. Does anybody of other places?? helphelphelp |

www.eprelectronics.com used to stock the pads but they aren't in stock. You can try contacting them straight and asking where they source them. | ||||

How much is a pad? You can also buy a Sequential Circuit Tom Drum or Drumtraks, the have the same pads PLUS the small buttons of the SPs:
