Hooking up the sp12...

Aight so I just picked this bad boy up, but suprisingly I'm having some trouble.

First, can I connect headphones directly into the mix out? I'm doing that now, but I can't hear any of the stock sounds in any of the banks.

If not where and how should I connect the mix out?

or should I use the individual outs?

Any help with just general setup as far as audio and getting started with this thing?

there mono outs headphone jack is stereo youll only hear half. use a mono snake and run all 8 outs to a board or get a two channle cable one for the mix out and one for the sample in then hook it up when you track in. do the same thing as mpc cept one out instead of LR
