EMAX Pitch down questionWord up word up.
I'm getting tired of spanning my samples just to get their original pitches after sampling in at 45rpm+8.
basically i sample in from vinyl pithced up, allocating sample to say C3 orig, and assign lo and hi keys, trigured via my keyboard in order to get the one key out of the 5 ive used that produces the original (down) pitch. why waste them other keys? there must be another way to achieve this.
i have the standard Emax rack (non SE or any of that other shit) and was wondering if there is a way of just say allocating a 45rpm+8 kick sample to say C3 and pitching down that midi note itself rather than spanning it across other keys. in other words im looking to have all my pitched down break hits i.e kicks hats snares next to one another to make it playable cos right now i gotta flick up and down through the octaves in order to find my hits (cant play in real time).
any advice much appreciated. apologies in advance for showing any nooby traits.
been listening to 'pete rock - hiphocrisy' again, shick shit. sp1200 & s950?
