combo s950 and sp12 .what can Ï do?Peace peoples, I'm Å newjack to the whole 12 bit lingo, in other words you guys call it "new jack"(lol), anyways Ï just copped an s950 for 40$ from this dude and I'm copping an sp12 turbo from this other dude Ï want to use them both together to make the grit grime that we all love but as Å newbie Ï understand that the turbo has 5 seconds and the s950 has 1,024 k words (whatever that means). Ï would like to use them both together to make beats but Ï need a recommended method of using them together to increase my "sampletime". Any suggestions or setup Ïdeas let me know. I'm not using any kind of mixer.

950 for 40 bucks is quite teh move. you can midi these two up. see our sp/950 tutorials for reference. mot of us in the same situation sequence from the sp, sample drums in the sp, and put the remaining samples in teh 950. it provides rugged sound with ample sampling time.

What DFACE said...but let me ask you one question : how do you want to use them both without using a mixer ?
I strongly recommend to buy a mixer with enough inputs (at least 8 ), it will allow you to use both samplers at the same time and you will be able to mix each channel seperately.
