Wow nice demonstration of the SP. I wonder what he did on the Drumpads. Looks like he ripped an old pc keyboard or cash-desk or some like that.

peace

yeah he swap all the drum pad and the play and note repeat
i check that too.... strange infact
DFACE DXA

yes those pads are funny looking.

he also had an asr10 in the back of him.  its funny how the great pieces of hardware are respected in multiple genres.

i dont get why he had the 1200 hittin that alesis 3060 so hard.  just me or thats the worst compressor ever?

good post thank you!

yeah it's so strange, however i read daft punk and in general french house touch use that compressor... cause it's crap but had noise at the lower end... and so they over use as an effect, not as a real compressor....
Drinks

Yup!  Compressor as an effect.

I used to skate with his cousin.  All those french dudes use the SP1200.  Braxe and Falke's "Running" went number one in quite a few countries in Europe.  It had a Jets sample which really killed it.  That and Fred is an amazing bass player.

dope thanks for posting this. i have a couple of his records including the running.  the french dude from cassius has a video demonstrating the sp1200 on redbullmusicacademy but they took it off.  http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/video-archive/lectures/philippe_zdar__vive_la_resistance!-
nice to see alans studio behind the scenes.

***someone sent me this - there's a pic of an SP in their old studio***
