| Triggering SP-1200 voices via midi |
|
|
I want to use the 1200 as a voice module. To trigger it's voices via another hardware sequencer (emu command station). Has anyone done this? Any feedback on this topic? _________________ Emu kit: SP1200, EIII rack, Emulator X2, PX-7, PM5's, PS12 sub |

See chapter 6 paragraph A of the manual.

Just replace the word keyboard by Command Station. _________________ Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33 GHz 3 GB WinXP Home SP3 / Cubase 4 (4.5.2 Build 274) / Cubase 5 (5.0.1 Build 147) / Reason 2.5 (Build 312) / Creamware Luna (Scope 5.0.2603) / M-Audio Axiom 25 (4.2.0.3v4) / NI Maschine (1.1.0) / Behringer BCF2000 (V1.2.1.3) |

I sure enjoy making beats with just the sp1200, but when i want more complicated things happening like bass from a sound module or samples from another sampler and stuff, i always use the mpc60 to sequence.
The SP can have 32 sounds and its easy to find those sounds on the mpc's pads when you use the mpc as a sequencer.
