Sp1200 with the emu esynth rack
What's up peoples. I have both Sp1200 and emu e-synth rack. I blew out my e-synth rack to the max and have an external cd-rom from scsi for samplers. How can i upgrade my EOSon the e-synth? I have the 3.2. version. I use them together and record into protools. Here is my question. I want to expand my sampling time on the Sp 12 using the the e-synth sampler. So I want to control the samples from the e-synth using the sp12 pads and then sequence everything using the sp1200. I have drums loaded from bank a 1 through bank b 4. So any samples I will be controlling will start from Bank b 5. It is similar to the sp1200 and Akai S950 team. I am just using the e-synth. My problem is if I use a midi keyboard I hear the sample play all the way through. When I unplug the midi keyboard and plug it into the sp12 midi out into the e-synth midi in I will hit a pad and see the midi light on the e-synth light up but the the sample is cut off. I just hear about 2% of the sample like if I chopped it down to make it a snare or kick. Also that little portion of the sample plays when I hit any pad of the sp1200. Along with when I hit my drums pads. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Peace..................Q
