Sample time woes!  Reply with quote

So I know you can only sample a max of 2.5 seconds at a time...

When you pitch your 2.5 second sample down its going to end up longer than 2.5

But the SP fades the pitched sample out before it is over.

Any way around this apart from chopping the long sample up? Once you get to 2.5 seconds is that the max one pad can play?

Thanks

Check that your default decay is at max.
You can check it from:
SET-UP -> 23 Special -> 19 Default decay

Other than that I dont know. And yes 2.5 is the max one pad can play.

Yeah, the fading on the end is kind of annoying. It fades with the default decay on max (standard). I chop the sample in two as a workaround, as you mentioned.
