SP-12 Turbo Diagnostics Test. Someone help please!  Reply with quote

Hi,
just got my hands on SP-12 Turbo. Unfortunatly it says all kinds of weired messages when i turn it up e.g. "Start cassete and press enter"  or "Use slider #1 Bs1 Bs2 Sn1 Sn2". Whatever i try to move, such as sliders or buttons, no reaction. And the sync-led is red. Before trying to replace the battery, which i assume is a little pain in the a**, i wanted ti try the diagnostics test. Can not find information on how to apply it.

Any kind of help is highly appreciated.
Thanx ind advance, Alex

Alex, to run the diagnostic routine you have to have the debug EPROM. I looked all over the net for it a couple years ago but never found it. If you get ahold of one or find an image online post it up, peace.
