SP1200 vs Emax  Reply with quote

anybody here who has both these samplers willing to post up the same sample/loop for comparison?

i still would love to get an sp1200 but it wont be for some time...im still rockin an EPS16+...

the idea of an SP and EMAX is very appealing given they both have analogue filters! Smile

cheers!

Check for my man LLINGO APT. He uses both the SP1200 and EMAX 1 rack. They're the romeo and juliet of beatmaking...with no tragic ending.

Yea, nice link DRUMAT!C dudes got some nice shit...

Blip, I would post up a comparison but I sold my emax a while back. the emax is real close to the SPs but the SPs got that sound and sequencing feel thats irreplaceable. The emax sequencer is mad weak and no shame to the emax heads it's just the SPs got it goin on. The filters on both machines are cool but really the AKAI s900/s950 got the crazy lo-pass for the bass filtering. It just depends on what your'e lookin for. peace
