Problem with MIDI-sync (SP-12)
Hi,
I'm having problems MIDI-syncing SP-12 to MV-8000. The SP starts a bit late. I've tried syncing it to an MPC4000 as well, but the SP also started late. I also tried sending SMPTE with the MPC, but the latency was even worse then.
My OS version is 2.2 if that could help.
I really love the SP, but it's practically useless in my setup when I can't sync it properly...

set sync to midi
select same bpm on your master source (either mpc or mv, etc...) and select midi clock.

This is exactly what I have done, but thanks anyway!
I'm just in the process of switching back to Atari, and luckily I discovered that it syncs much better to Cubase 2.01 with MIDI clock. Not entirely perfect though, but miles better than the MV and MPC. It's probably possible to delay compensate MIDI clock in cubase as well...
